Korean Documents, from Issuance to Overseas Submission — Without Coming to Korea

You can start even if you do not have the document yet. We confirm which document you need and who can obtain it where, then handle application support, proxy application, proxy pickup, authentication and overseas delivery within what is actually allowed.

3-Second Summary — No document yet? Start here. Already have it? Go to Remote Apostille for Overseas Residents.

Do you have the document now?

Not yet

We first check the issuing authority, who may apply and whether a proxy is allowed, then follow the six steps below.

See the steps →

Yes, I have it

We take the issued original through translation, notarization, apostille or consular confirmation.

Remote authentication →

Not sure

Send us the list from your receiving authority and we will sort out which documents you need and in what order.

In what order are Korean documents prepared?

  1. Identify the document — exact name, purpose and language required by the receiving authority
  2. Check the issuing authority and eligibility — only you, or also family or a proxy
  3. Apply, visit and collect under a valid authorization, or support your own application (appointment, document check, accompaniment)
  4. Only the steps the receiving authority needs: translation, notarization, apostille or consular confirmation
  5. Check the submission format — original, copy or e-document, sealed or not, validity after issuance
  6. Ship overseas, or coordinate direct sending where the institution must send it

Issuance support, proxy application, proxy pickup, accompaniment, delivery — what is the difference?

How we handle it

  • Documents only you can apply for: we guide you to the Korean mission or online route and check your documents
  • POA signed abroad: we first confirm the verification the institution requires (e.g., consular confirmation)
  • We never say one general POA covers every application
  • No Korean digital certificate or Korean phone number: we look for a lawful offline route

What affects the quote?

Fees are quoted individually after consultation. A quote reflects the number of documents, the number of institutions and visits, the type of authentication (notarization, apostille, consular confirmation, embassy legalization), the translation language and the destination country. Government fees are separate, at the official amount.

How do you handle personal data and sealed documents?

We do not collect ID, criminal or medical records at the public inquiry stage. If needed, we receive them by a protected method and tell you when they will be deleted. We never take account passwords, digital certificate passwords or OTPs, and we do not open sealed envelopes — progress is shown with the envelope, receipt and tracking number.

Frequently Asked Questions

Can I get Korean documents issued without going to Korea?
It depends on the document. Where an institution allows proxy application or pickup, we proceed under your authorization. For documents only you can apply for, we guide you to the Korean mission or online route and can handle authentication and delivery after issuance.
Can one signed authorization cover any document?
No. Each institution has its own proxy eligibility, POA form and rules for verifying a POA signed abroad (such as consular confirmation). We never say one general POA covers every application.
Can foreign nationals use this service?
Yes. Former residents of Korea and overseas Koreans with foreign nationality can use it. Some documents, such as the family relation certificate, are only issued to people registered in the Korean family register, so we first confirm which documents fit your nationality and situation.
What if I already have the document?
Take the issued original through translation, notarization, apostille or consular confirmation. See Remote Apostille for Overseas Residents for the steps.
How much does it cost?
It depends on the number of documents, institutions and visits, the authentication type, translation language and destination country, so we quote individually after consultation. Government fees are separate, at the official amount.
