About Vision ApoKorea

From translation to authentication for documents submitted overseas
Vision ApoKorea provides one-stop agency services.

Greeting

Hello, this is Vision ApoKorea. Our goal is to guide and handle the translation, notarization, apostille, and consular authentication procedures — which can be confusing depending on whether the destination country is a member of the Apostille Convention — from start to finish, accurately, for individuals, families, and businesses who need to submit documents overseas.

We understand that each document is connected to an important moment in life, such as studying abroad, employment, immigration, or international marriage. That is why we do not arbitrarily simplify procedures or guide based on guesswork — we first confirm the standards of official institutions such as the Overseas Koreans Agency, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, and the Ministry of Justice, and then convey them accurately.

Anything uncertain is handled as "confirm before informing," and we do not fabricate unverified statistics, reviews, or consultation data. We will continue to operate our service with accuracy and transparency as our top priorities.

Business Areas

Apostille Agency Service

We handle apostille applications for public documents issued in Korea (family relation certificates, diplomas, transcripts, etc.). We first confirm whether the destination country is a member of the Apostille Convention and guide you through the correct procedure.

Translation & Certified Translation

We provide professional translation into the destination country's language, along with certified translation confirming that the translation matches the original.

Notarization Agency Service

Private documents such as powers of attorney and contracts must be notarized before an apostille or consular authentication can be obtained. We act as an agent to submit applications to notary offices (the actual notarization is performed by a notary office).

Consular Authentication & Embassy Legalization

If the destination country is not a member of the Apostille Convention, we handle the process through to Ministry of Foreign Affairs consular confirmation and authentication by the relevant country's embassy in Korea.

Our Principles

Accuracy First

We provide information on Convention membership, fees, and other details only based on official sources, and do not include unverified information.

Transparent Process

We clearly explain what is done and why at each stage of translation, notarization, and authentication.

One-Stop Service

We help you complete the process through a single point of contact, without needing to research multiple institutions separately.

Trust & Transparency Policy

A Private Agency, Not a Government Body

Vision ApoKorea is a private agency service, not an official institution such as the Overseas Koreans Agency, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the Ministry of Justice, or a notary office. The actual authority to issue and authenticate documents rests with those official institutions; we act on your behalf for application, document preparation, translation, and submission procedures.

Fact-Based Content

Information on this site regarding Convention membership status, fees, and procedures is written based on the latest official sources, and we do not publish unconfirmed company information (contact details, address, etc.) or fabricated statistics. We update our content as soon as information is confirmed.

Scope of work

Work we handle

  • Apostille service: We apply for apostilles on Korean public documents such as family-relation certificates, diplomas and transcripts.
  • Translation and notarized translation: Translation into the destination language together with notarization that confirms the translation matches the original.
  • Notarization by commission: Private documents such as letters of authorisation and contracts must be notarized before an apostille or legalization. We lodge the application with the notary office on your behalf.
  • Consular legalization and embassy certification: If the destination is not party to the Apostille Convention, we continue through legalization by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs to certification by the destination country's embassy in Korea.

Work we do not handle

  • We do not act in lawsuits or court proceedings, and we do not take on criminal defence.
  • We do not represent clients in administrative appeals; we help prepare and file the petition only.
  • We do not file labour or tax reports on a client's behalf (these belong to certified labour consultants and tax accountants).
  • We do not perform the notarial act itself (that belongs to the notary office; we handle it up to lodging the application by commission).
  • Authority to issue or certify an apostille or legalization rests with the official institutions; we are a private agent that prepares, translates and files on your behalf.
  • We do not promise outcomes. The administrative authority decides each application on review.

We work within the scope of an administrative agent under Article 2 of the Certified Administrative Agents Act.
