Since the Convention took effect in 2005, Poland uses the apostille-only procedure. No separate consular confirmation or embassy legalization is required.

Documents Brought From Poland to Korea

If you are submitting a document issued in Poland to Korea, it must first go through Poland's issuing agency.

Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MSZ) and Related Agencies

Apostilles for Polish documents are, in principle, handled by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MSZ). However, degree/education-related certificates appear to have been transferred to the National Agency for Academic Exchange (NAWA) (the exact transfer date needs to be confirmed), commercial documents are handled by the chamber of commerce, and court documents by the competent regional court (sąd okręgowy).

Fees

The apostille fee is reported as 60 złoty (PLN), and consular authentication as 26 złoty, payable only by bank transfer as far as can be determined (the current amounts need to be reconfirmed).

Whether an e-apostille is in operation, and the official rules on translation notarization, need to be confirmed.
